The 2024 Gentle Folk Pinot Noir is a poised and earthy expression, drawing depth from a blend of all estate vineyards alongside the St James’s site in Uraidla. With most of the fruit sourced from Little Creek and Basket Range, the wine leans into a darker, more brooding profile—bramble, forest floor and subtle spice—yet retains the hallmark Gentle Folk balance of lifted aromatics and fine, dancing tannins. The inclusion of whole bunch fermentation adds a whisper of herbal crunch, while the restrained oak regime keeps the focus on purity and site. A wine of quiet intensity and rare finesse—sadly in very limited supply due to tiny yields in 2024.
