Fruit purity and aromatic complexity are two of the calling cards of the 2022 Birdsong. So much going on here, with pepper, spice, violets and a cool red and blue fruit character.
Mid-weight, fresh and bursting with energy, the textured tannins help prolong the finish beautifully.

Vineyard: Polygon 14 Shiraz (young vine, clay) makes up the backbone of the blend this year and is complemented by Polygon 11 Shiraz (young vine, schist) and old vine Block 5&6 Shiraz. NASAA certified organic and biodynamic.

Winemaking: The various parcels were picked and vinified separately with roughly 75% whole bunches. Fermented wild and matured in concrete for 8 months before blending and
final 2 months in an old oak foudre. 350 dozen and 100 magnums.
