The result is a fragrant wine showing violets and rose petals intertwined with earth, charry and herbal notes.  Fine fruit is balanced with lovely acidity and plenty of fine tannin making for an absolutely delicious wine and a beautiful expression of the site.

At the southern end of the Adelaide Hills on a north west facing slope to take advantage of the last daily rays of sunshine for this late ripening varietal is a special site with multiple Nebbiolo clones planted.

In the winery: Hand-picked, hand sorted, destemmed and into a large oak fudre.  The wine went through wild fermentation with occasional gentle hand plunging and remained on skins for three weeks before being gently pressed to small French oak barrels where  it spent 9 months before being bottled.
