An early vintage but still lovely concentration
Cold maceration, 9 day fermentation on skins with pump over twice daily.
Racked into barrels, 20% new oak (14% French 6% American)–300 L barrels.
Balance in seasoned French oak for 18 months and then tank for final blend.
Classic Clare Cabernet
Blackberries, cassis with a hint of mint and herbs.
Full bodied, with soft fine tannins
