A new adittion to Baron Von Warblers curious collections… This Shiraz was divined by a demand that Charlie Black (Winemaker) could not deny. A thirsty thrum of Pagan Perfume purveyors persuaded him to placate their palates. So in an attempt to up the ante he hand selected 8 hogshead barrels of his favourite Shiraz wines produced in 2018. A blend of several different sites grown on the ‘casino strip’ in Marananga, otherwise known as Roennfeldt Road. This wine has come together beautifully. After a two and a half year sojourn in barrel its rounded, ripe and robust. Black fruits burst like balloons from the bottle begging to become one with your breath. With a mysterious magical ability to manipulate the mind this wine can also manifest metamorphosis when a minute measure is applied to the skin as a moisturiser… (the metamorphic transition is completely consumer dependent and The Mysterious Mr. Black takes no responsibility for any undesired transformations)…
