"Well, this sets a cracking pace. Way above the middle of the road, of mundane options often found from this variety, we have texture, energy, complexity and deliciousness on hand here. Scents of classic green and nashi pears, a touch of green almond in there, too, faint chamomile a lift in the perfume. The palate follows a similar path, slippery but finds powdery grip, acidity tightly coiled from the mid-palate, the finish pleasingly bitter and crisp. Gulpability on show. It's a cracker."
