The "white ports" of yesteryear were traditionally made from local Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The team at DogRidge toyed with "the old way" but devilishly discovered the Viognier version! Similar but spiced up, it is fortified on skins with top-grade spirit to retain the spiced stone fruit character of Viognier. Yum!
This wine can be served on its own to finish the night or perfectly paired with a mature cheese platter.
