When a brand starts because of an obsession with Hot Cross Buns, you know it's going to be great. Along with a passion for Gin, Craig and Bec wanted to mix their two loves together. Determined to recreate the iconic bun flavour in gin form, they taught themselves all the skills needed to create high quality, artisan gin. In no time their hot cross bun gin had become a favourite among family and friends.
Based out of Flagstaff Hill on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia, this husband and wife team are definitely creating something iconic. Nursing has been thier love but their passion is Gin! Bec works as a Palliative care nurse & Craig is a nurse in a fast paced surgical ward. Both areas are pretty taxing on the body and brain & with nearly 50 years’ experience between them, their minds started dreaming of something a little more creative. That’s when their magical gin came to life!
Recipe development begins in Harriett, their small copper alembic still. Once they have perfected their formula, they re-create it on a larger scale in Charlie, their 120L copper pot still. All done under the watchful eyes of their 2 distillery dogs, Murphy & Pippa.
From Spiced Fig Gin and Blueberry Gin to the seasonal favourites of Hot Cross Bun Gin and Christmas Gin, these wonderful creations never last long on our shelves here at Regions.
