Minerals, slate and freshly sharpened lead pencils - 2B. A deft and dovetailed integration of Shiraz fruit aromatics and winemaker wizardry. The aromatics remain prominent, as they should. Textural red wine with subatomic sized tannins in multitudinous proportions. Yet whilst they are everywhere they are so tiny as to play a strangely background, insouciant role. This texture provides a wonderful graphite quality, helping to define the rounded black and berried fruits, which are furthermore tightened by a keen linear scribe of acidity.
