From a cooler vintage than average, this style of wine is very elegant and sophisticated. Colour is bright and intense red, with a noticeable purple rim. Aromas and flavours are fled with ripe cherries and plums, lilac and rose hips, the palate is more about the savouriness, all spices, and cherries, a medium bodied with a nice and dry finish with a fruit and savoury aftertaste.
