This is sourced entirely from old vines - one block 50 years old, the other 90 years. There is normally a certain reverence about working with old material, showcasing the natural gravitas of these vines. This is a different type of homage. With an early harvest, 100% whole bunches and only 10 months in oak, this wine shows just how much energy and vitality old vines have to offer us.

It's bright and fresh, with a slippery and refreshing juiciness matched by a low alcohol level. There is plenty of complexity here, and it comes quite naturally too. Raspberries, plums and mulberries (oh my!), with a lovely herbaceous character too, spices and a touch of melted chocolate. It's old school vines made in a new school way.
