Story: The K1 Sauvignon Blanc vines are the oldest in the Adelaide Hills and are planted in a sandy loam area of the K1 by Geoff Hardy vineyard, a consistent hero of the vineyard. The vines are spur pruned to a low bud number to increase fruit quality.

Vintage: 2022 was a dream vintage where the conditions have been quite temperate with certainly no hot spells to stress the hand picking crew and winery. Also no significant rainfall events and good night temperatures for the machine harvesting.

Nose: The nose lifts effortlessly from the glass filling the senses with vibrant and intense aromas of passionfruit, elderflower, citrus, white peach and just a hint of fresh herbs.

Palate: The palate is super refreshing, crisp and clean, with a trace of florals accompanying citrus and exotic tropical fruits leading to a dry, lingering finish.

Pairing: Crisp and dry, this wine is an ideal partner to seafood and less spicy Asian dishes. Try with freshly shucked oysters.
