Unico Zelo winemaker Caroline has an epic little side project called Next Crop with her partner AJ and makes some epic wine from Langhorne Creek, and she's always pointing them in the right direction for some cool vineyards down there. This year they took a punt on a vineyard farmed by Ben Potts, where he has some Dolcetto and they were absolutely blown away by the quality of the fruit. Langhe style tannin, deep brooding fruit, everything that is searched for in quality Dolcetto. They decided to blend it with their Polish Hill vineyard and they have come together in perfect harmony. The bright and juicy fruit from Clare has seamlessly woven with the more intense and structured fruit from Langhorne. It's far and away the best Dolcetto Unico Zelo have ever made and they are so excited to share it with you.
