Fiano is a grape variety that hails from the Campania region in Italy and is currently making waves in McLaren Vale. A variety well suited to our Mediterranean climate and a perfect accompaniment to our coastal lifestyle. 

All of the decisions made in making this wine were to maintain the freshness and purity of both variety and place. Harvested in the cool of the night and gently pressed in the early hours of the morning. The wine underwent a slow and cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the aromatics, followed by a month of extended lees contact to enhance texture and mouthfeel before bottling.  

Aromas of pear and sherbet. Racy and crunchy primary fruits, Granny Smith apples, cinnamon and fresh lemon zest. A lovely bright entry on the palate with brisk acidity and immediate textural interest.
