Vinemind Wines is the wine project of Colin McBryde and Jen Gardner. Nestled in the Clare Valley, tells a story that diverges from typical winery narratives. While Jen's family purchased a vineyard and she experienced the joys of grape picking as a child, her journey took a different turn. Unlike the usual tales of rescuing old vineyards or chasing after the perfect $7 Colombard, Jen's path was shaped by a desire to explore "what if." After stepping away from winemaking around 2009 to focus on parenthood and her academic career, Vinemind Wines represents her return to the craft.

This venture allows Jen to challenge preconceived notions about Clare Valley wines. With a fresh perspective, she seeks to create unique offerings that push boundaries. The result is a lineup that includes concrete-aged Riesling and Vermentino, alongside contemporary blends like Shiraz and Malbec. Vinemind Wines is committed to showcasing Clare Valley's diverse terroir, working closely with a select group of grape growers—from recent Riesling plantings to century-old Shiraz vines just steps from the winery. Through this collaboration, Jen aims to redefine local winemaking while celebrating the region's authentic character.
