Mordrelle Wines

From an early age Martin's grandfather used to take him through the vineyards at their family winery in Mendoza, Argentina.  it was only years later, after growing up in the city, that he again became acquainted with wines and vines. Undertaking an engineering degree in Agriculture,  he specialised in viticulture and oenology, making reds, whites and sparkling wines.

Destiny, fortune, or just life, brought Martin to Australia and he worked vintages in Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. From the moment he arrived he found happiness in the company of good friends, the beautiful surroundings, the great wines and he met Michelle who after three years became his wife. Inspired by his enthusiasm and passion for handcrafted wine, Michelle’s parents David and Jane became involved and helped make the first year of trial vintage become a reality.

Today Martin uses the artworks of his late father for the wine labels in loving memory. Martin's wines are elegant, delicious and great examples of Adelaide Hills wines. We love having them on the shelves at Regions.
