Callum Powell comes from a Barossa wine dynasty. Callum, like many other winemakers in The Barossa, learnt his trade under the guidance of his father Dave Powell who was the pioneer of Torbreck wines.

Callum has access to some of the best vineyards and fruit in The Barossa Valley that he utilizes to make wine under his label Agricola. His approach is a bit more hands off with lower alcohol content which as a result produces outstanding Shiraz.
