The Follett family have been grape growers on the same land since the 1850s and began crafting their own wines under the Lake Breeze label in 1987, drawing on more than 130 years of viticultural experience. Over the past three decades, Lake Breeze has built an enviable reputation both domestically and internationally, accumulating dozens of trophies and hundreds of gold medals in major Australian wine shows. Its portfolio highlights include iconic labels such as Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet, Arthur’s Reserve, and Winemaker’s Selection Shiraz, all crafted from fruit selected from old vines to ensure depth and character. This 2025 Tempranillo from the Edwards Family Farms in Mount Torrens in the Adelaide Hills exudes plush, soft tannins, red cherry and black plum fruit characters and a cured meat vibe straight off a charcuterie board. This wine ticks a lot of boxes. Perfect with a roast or anything off the barbecue.
