In 2016, Golden Child produced their inaugural red wine, a 50/50 blend of Pinot and Syrah, which quickly became one of their most beloved wines. The decision to maintain a balanced 50/50 ratio was intentional, as it consistently delivers the best results. The Pinot component contributes lively red fruit flavors and acidity, while the early-harvested Syrah adds intense notes of red currant and a hint of peppery vibes. The Pinot underwent whole berry fermentation, contrasting with the mainly carbonic maceration process employed for the Syrah. This exceptional wine is particularly delightful when served with a slight chill, making it an ideal choice for summer enjoyment.
