A style of wine that seems to have gained traction in Australia recently, Ramato (skin-contact) Pinot Gris lives in that zone between rose and orange wine.

Cherry scented, with heady pink floral notes, there are berries galore on this wine, while texturally there is grip and chew, leading to a dry as a bone finish.

It’s a fun style wine, nothing overly complicated here, and gives a nice easy vibe, while staying true to style and showcasing the depth of this variety, when it’s not produced as a clean lean dry white.
