Three brothers whose main priority is to let the fruit do the talking, With access to high quality grapes from some of the best sites in South Australia these guys are blending their experience with superior grapes.

With a small collection of varieties they work with, including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and one of our favourites - Savagnin, the team hand craft their wines with minimal intervention. For their red wines, oak maturation is used to support and enhance the wine, to lift aromatics and enhance structure and mouthfeel, but not to encroach.
Whites are whole bunch pressed and oxidatively handled. Fermented in barrel. Lees stirring is occasionally used to add complexity and mouthfeel.

Working with a core group of growers to produce the best fruit reflecting the site and vintage conditions is what they say they are about. Their growers are committed to quality. Careful pruning, restriction of yields, vine canopy manipulation and sustainable practices producing the best fruit possible.

Based at Pt. Elliot where Ben's wife Charlotte Hardy produces her Charlotte Dalton wines, the Cooke Brothers are a brand to watch.
