Corduroy
From what Phillip LeMessurier describes as a love child, Corduroy has progressed to become a respected boutique wine brand. Phillip has quite the pedigree, from working the hallowed barrel hall at Wirra Wirra to the coveted assistant wine maker role at Thomas wines Hunter Valley. He also spent time in Napa Valley at Vineyard 29 and Rhone Valley, France, at Paul Jaboulet. He currently works at Brokenwood, Hunter Valley.
Along with his wife Eliza the mission of the brand is simple. They aim to make wines in the pursuit of balance and harmony between nature and winemaker. Their aim is to create wines with character, complexity and longevity, wines that evolve as you enjoy them with friends.
The varieties Phillip loves working with are Riesling, Chardonnay, Semillon, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Some of our favourites too.
