Approximately 14 months after vintage, Geoff and Scott conduct a blind tasting to select the finest barrels from the Coonawarra and McLaren Vale vineyards that meet the standard for the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. These selected barrels are blended in tank before being returned to a mix of new and seasoned American and French oak hogsheads for further maturation prior to bottling.

The palate is defined by firm, grippy tannins, balanced by generous fruit flavour and a supple texture. Despite some time in bottle, the wine remains youthful, with vibrant acidity, tension, and bright fruit expression.

Beautifully complex and captivating, the lifted bouquet reveals notes of golden peach, Gala apple, nougat, and cedar. The palate follows through with opulence, superb weight, and expansive texture. This is a layered and persistent wine with remarkable depth, making it highly appealing.
