Good Catholic Girl is the creation of Julie Ann Barry. After many years of working for her parents wine company, Jim Barry Wines, she bravely followed her dream of establishing her own wine company where she could do it her way! Thus all involvement with JBW was annulled, and her mother Teresa Nancy proudly watches her progress with GCG Wines.

Her late father set her on this course when he chose a property called Limerick in the Armagh area of Clare as the perfect site to plant her vineyard in 1997, so no doubt he would raise his glass to her project as well.

“My motto is to drink what you like, be happy and try to remain standing.”
