The Bethany First Village Grenache 2022 is a vibrant Barossa Valley red wine with notes of red fruits like strawberries and raspberries, along with silky tannins and floral hints. It has a medium body and a fresh finish, making it enjoyable now, though it can also be aged. The wine has a bright crimson color with a fresh nose of red fruits and floral notes on the palate. 

Sourced from old vine Grenache plantings, the fruit for this wine was carefully hand harvested and then fermented in separate parcels to ensure clarity of vision throughout the fermentation and maturation. Time on skins ranged from 7-10 days with whole berry ferments and the inclusion of whole bunches at 0-50% depending on the parcel resulting in 15% whole bunch inclusion in the final blend. Maturation on fine lees in seasoned hogsheads and puncheons protects and lengthens the natural fruit vibrancy.
