Hahndorf Hill produces four different styles of Grüner Veltliner, with Gru representing the classic expression of the variety. This vintage opens with a perfumed nose of nectarine, lime peel, and chamomile. The palate is abundant with yellow-fleshed stone fruit and a hint of guava, all framed by vibrant, juicy acidity and a generous, mouth-filling texture. The finish is long and flavoursome, revealing ongoing layers of texture and spice.

Gru pairs beautifully with all styles of Asian cuisine, white meats, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. Most intriguingly, it also stands out as an exceptional white wine pairing for a rare sirloin steak.

Grüner Veltliner is known for its excellent ageing potential, and this wine is expected to develop beautifully over the next 8 to 10 years
