Mazi

Lifelong friends Toby Porter and Alex Katsaros always talked about making wine together. Alex has spent over a decade working with alternative varieties in Australia and abroad, Toby has been a winemaker at internationally acclaimed d’Arenberg for over 15 years.

In 2016 the dream came to fruition, with the release of the first RosΓ© under the Mazi label. Grapes are sourced from McLaren Vale, handpicked, crushed and immediately pressed to extract the optimum level of flavour and tannin. The wine displays a pale pink tone, derived from a minimal period of juice on skins prior to pressing.

Following a cool fermentation in stainless steel vat, the wine is then bottled. The Mazi Limited Release RosΓ© spends five months in old French oak casks to impart subtle oak texture and build palate complexity.

This wine is stunning and will be appreciated by any fine wine drinker.
