Ochota Barrels The Green Room 2026 is lifted, fragrant and beautifully savoury, with plum compote, thyme, white pepper and a subtle bouillon-like depth running through the nose.

The palate is generous but energetic, with a medium-bodied, almost Pinot-like feel and fine-grained texture. Pomegranate and lingonberry bring brightness and crunch, while the old-vine Grenache keeps everything juicy, spicy and incredibly easy to drink.

Made from organically grown, dry-farmed Grenache planted in 1946 in the Onkaparinga Hills, the fruit was handpicked across two passes, with 60% whole bunch and 12 days on skins before four months in seasoned French oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
