First established in 1995, Ralph Fowler Wines is a 7-ha vineyard, winery, and cellar door in Mount Benson. The first Ralph Fowler Wines vintage from grapes grown on the property was a 1997 Shiraz, and our cellar door opened for tastings and sales in 1999. The Cellar Door facility is tucked away in the vineyard and offers an intimate look into artisan winemaking.

At Ralph Fowler, they have a very traditional style to both their vineyard and winery aspects of the business, incorporating traditional growing methods, handpicking, pruning and basket pressing. Traditional winemaking methods showcase distinctive wines with a house style that is uniquely Ralph Fowler. The wines have varietal expression and are reflective of the terroir not only of the region but of their vineyard.
