Fiano is a perfect variety for Australia. Having evolved for thousands of years to thrive in the hot and dry south of Italy, it naturally retains high acidity and can easily survive periods of drought! No wonder 300 hectares of it has been planted across South Australia - 180 of that being in McLaren Vale! 

Fiano typically tastes like a blend of citrus, stone fruit and floral notes, with a hint of nuttiness and a balanced acidity. The wines are generally known for their bright acidity, textural richness, and potential for aging!
