Anita Goode, owner and director of Wangolina, has been integral to the family business since its inception. With a degree in Oenology from Adelaide University and extensive experience working both internationally and in Australia, she took full ownership in 2013. Under her leadership, the vineyard has expanded and adapted to the cool, coastal climate of Mt Benson, with new plantings of Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner, and Malvasia Istriana. The vineyard, established in 1999, thrives in sandy loam soils with access to fresh subterranean water, benefiting from the moderating influence of the nearby Great Southern Ocean.
