Honouring Seppeltsfield’s historic 'East Cellar' blends from the 1960s, the wine reflects a tradition of bench blending, where each vintage is shaped by seasonal character and careful varietal selection. No. EC3, the first release under this revived code, draws inspiration from Portugal's Douro Valley while remaining firmly rooted in Barossa’s terroir.

Bright and youthful in colour, the wine shows vibrant vermilion and deep purple hues. Aromatically lifted with notes of pomegranate, violet, and redcurrant, layered with brown spices and sage. On the palate, it is fruit-driven and light-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, elegant finish.
