The Seppeltsfield Para Grand Tawny is the centrepiece of Seppeltsfield’s famed Para Tawny Collection, named after the Para River in the Barossa. Crafted from Shiraz-led varieties and fortified with aromatic brandy spirit, it is matured through a modified solera system in seasoned oak. Individual wines age in small casks for at least 10 years before blending, ensuring consistency, freshness, and the rich complexity that defines the “Grand” classification of Australian fortified wines.

Deep mahogany in colour with amber hues, the Para Grand Tawny offers aromas of toasted almonds, praline, and vanilla nougat. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with lingering flavours of nuts, spice, and fine brandy spirit. Perfect alongside mature cheddar or pistachio and almond cake.

It has earned a Top Gold Medal and 96 points at the 2024 Australian Fortified Wine Show, plus 95 points from Halliday Wine Companion.
