The fruit for this wine was harvested from the Carlsfield vineyard, just to the east of the Watervale township. With vines dating back 94 years in age.

The colour reveals the merest hint of a lemony veneer. An utterly delicious Clare Riesling which will easily handle many years in the cellar, the nose offers us notes of citrus, spices, florals, river stones, minerally chalk and especially limes. 
It is finally crafted and well balanced, seamless in structure with gentle fresh acidity. The wine is focused, linear and of great length, and will easily impress for the next fifteen years.
