Welcome to Springs Road Wines, where the essence of Kangaroo Island is bottled in every pour. Nestled along the picturesque Springs Road, which traverses the northern reaches of Kangaroo Island, our vineyard has been a labor of love since its establishment in 1994 on a quaint sheep property, just 7 kilometers west of Kingscote.
In 2016, the dynamic duo of Joch Bosworth and Louise Hemsley-Smith, renowned for their organic Battle of Bosworth wines in McLaren Vale, took the helm, breathing new life into our vineyards. With a commitment to organic practices and a hands-on approach, they lovingly craft each wine on-site, ensuring that every bottle reflects the unique terroir of Kangaroo Island.
Drawing inspiration from history, the Springs Road label pays homage to Louis Freycinet's 1808 map of Southern Australia, evoking a sense of timeless charm and adventure.
