The cool slopes of Blewitt Springs contribute the vibrant, cooler-spectrum fruit characters and a fine, lingering tannin line, while the Mediterranean-influenced Tatachilla vineyard adds depth, richness, and darker fruit tones.

Each vintage, careful consideration is given to the proportions sourced from the Dowie Vineyard in Blewitt Springs and the Doole Vineyard in Tatachilla. The Dowie Vineyard provides fruit with lifted aromatics, freshness, and defined tannin structure, while the Doole Vineyard delivers weight, generosity, and plush fruit character.

For the 2021 vintage, a blend of 70% Blewitt Springs and 30% Tatachilla was chosen as the ideal expression of the two distinct yet complementary terroirs that define Dowie Doole.
