Art and wine are a beautiful match. One concept, expressed in different forms. Both demand creative spirit and an open mind of the creator and the consumer. Akin to the wine, this illustration is a perfect blend of two. Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, Kahlo and Rivera, the lily and the hummingbird, Love and Revolution.

Tasting Note
Deep, dense red in colour. Generously laden with dark fruits. Inky in concentration with toasty oak aromas. As the wine opens redcurrant spices, powdery herb nuances and red cedar perfume. The palate is fleshy and approachable, flowing with warmth through the mid-palate, while bright acidity maintains freshness to the finish.

Terroir 
Cabernet Sauvignon: Sourced from Trevor Fromm’s vineyard near Williamstown, the Crown Village vineyard in the Krondorf foothills and the Cowham vineyard at Light Pass. These components provide the aromatic lift and palate structure.

Shiraz: From the Falland vineyard near Truro and the Schiller family vineyard near Nuriootpa, four blocks were selected with vines planted in 1925, 1935, 1945 and 1975, coupled with Shiraz from the Cowham Light Pass vineyard. These imbue Shiraz sweetness, fullness, depth and add many layers of complexity.

Treatment
Matured for 22 months in 23% new French barriques, French and Hungarian hogsheads, balance in older French, Hungarian and American barriques and hogsheads.
