Fruit is hand-picked from 80-year-old bush vines grown on terra rossa soils over limestone in Leasingham. Gently de-stemmed with 10% whole bunches and wild fermented in small open fermenters, the wine is basket pressed into seasoned oak hogsheads and matured for six months before bottling without filtration.

Vibrant red in the glass, this wine displays lifted raspberry and black cherry aromatics with complexing subtle hints of Provençal herbs, liquorice and white pepper. The palate is mid weight and juicy with flavours of plum and berry fruit, soft velvety tannins and sappy texture leading to a fine, persistent finish.
