Fruit taken from Maple Ridge Vineyard, Hahndorf. Peramangk country. 60% destemmed (222 and RVC12) and 40% whole bunch (BGW19), vinified separately using wild yeast after a 12 day cold soak. Pressed to 2 year old and neutral barrels. 9 months in oak. 

Fruit sweetness of black cherry, red plum, crushed blackberry, baked rhubarb and juniper. Balanced with savoury notes of lavander, rosemary, beetroot-like earthiness and dark cocoa powder. Fresh natural acidity and velvety tannins give this wine a structured and balanced feel in the mouth.
