Grown in shallow loams threaded with ironstone and quartz, this Pinot Gris reflects its cool-climate origins, shaped by 1,010mm of rainfall and 1,258 degree days. The winemaking approach brings further complexity: the wine is fermented on solids across a mix of foudres, old oak, and stainless steel, then rested for four months before being blended and bottled in August 2025.

In the glass, the style is unmistakably fresh, lively, and textured. The nose opens with lifted orange blossom, hints of lychee, and a subtle white pepper edge. The palate follows with a finely finessed delicacy, echoing gentle florals. Though light on its feet, it remains flavourful, carrying crisp apple and citrus notes through to a long, persistent finish.

Bright and pure in its youth, it is drinking beautifully now, yet will reward enjoyment over the next three years.
