The DD Shiraz Grenache is sourced from the two estate vineyards, the DOWIE Vineyard on the sandy slopes of Blewitt Springs, and DOOLE vineyard on the ancient rocks of Tatachilla. The shiraz for this wine is sourced from the cooler slopes of the DOWIE Vineyard, gifting the wine with elegant shiraz characters. While the grenache is sourced from the DOOLE vineyard, this terroir being a more Mediterranean climate adds richer grenache characters add fruit lift and weight to the wine.
