Longview’s Twin Palms Pinot Noir 2025 is bright, fruity and crunchy, with aromas and flavours of cherry, raspberry and plum complemented by subtle earthy notes of mushroom. Its freshness and vibrant red fruit make it an ideal match for Peking duck.

The 2025 vintage was one of the driest in many years, resulting in early flowering and a rapid ripening period. Despite the challenging conditions, crop levels were reasonably strong, and the fruit was harvested during one of Longview’s earliest and fastest vintages on record. Quality was exceptional across all varieties, and with similar conditions not seen since 1967, the vintage may prove to be one of the finest of modern times.

Longview’s Pinot Noir is grown from four clones—D5V12, 114, 115 and 777—planted across east- and north-facing slopes. The fruit was hand-picked, chilled and destemmed into open fermenters, with 15–20% whole-bunch inclusion. After fermenting for 9–12 days, the wine was pressed into new and seasoned French oak puncheons, matured for six months and bottled early to preserve its freshness and vibrancy.
