APPEARANCE: Radiant ruby.

BOUQUET: Inviting bouquets of red cherries and ripe raspberries, intertwined with delicate floral notes of violets. Subtle hints of dried herbs, like oregano and thyme, add a layer of complexity.

PALATE: The initial burst of red fruit, cranberries and pomegranates is balanced by a defined earthiness, reminiscent of sun-warmed terracotta. It’s a harmonious marriage of fruit, earth, and acidity.

The Sangiovese is inoculated with a combination of natural and cultured yeasts then fermented for 16 days at cooler temperatures which suits this variety. The wine goes to large oak barrels for maturation. The ‘Tash’ style is about fruit first, followed by integrated oak flavours. For a twist they make a small portion of Amarone style Sangiovese which is dried for 6 weeks in the vineyard, fermented and added back to the cuvee in small amounts.
