Shiraz from three highly regarded vineyards in Langhorne Creek was selected for this twenty-fifth release of this wine. The individual components completed primary and secondary fermentation in seasoned American (62%) and French (38%) oak hogsheads prior to blending during August 2021. The final blend was returned to the same oak for maturation for a further twenty-five months prior to bottling in the spring of 2023.

The 2021 Margarete's Blend Shiraz is full bodied displaying rich characters of the chocolate, mint and spice characters on the nose and palate. This wine will develop further complex flavours with extended bottle ageing. This limited annual release will certainly reward collectors and wine enthusiasts.
