The 2024 Pee Wee Nero d’Avola is crafted from three McLaren Vale vineyards—Jones Block, McLaren Vines, and Windmill Creek—each contributing unique soil character. Nero d’Avola’s drought tolerance and natural vibrancy make it ideal for the region’s warm, dry climate. Winemaker Andy Coppard hand plunges the fruit gently for three days, then wild ferments it on full solids in stainless steel with no added acid, enzymes, or tannins. The wine is vegan friendly and fermented bone dry, though its natural raspberry and cherry flavours give a sweet impression.

Bright raspberry in colour, the 2024 Pee Wee Nero d’Avola offers aromas of red-berried fruits and sweet spice. The palate is fresh and juicy, showing raspberry and cherry with a smooth amaro-like finish. It pairs beautifully with charcuterie and is best enjoyed now through to 2028.
