A small addition of Viognier brings brightness and perfume, enhancing the wine’s elegance and energy.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet finely balanced, delivering concentrated dark fruit, spice and gentle oak nuances framed by fine-grained tannins and fresh natural acidity. Matured partially in French oak hogsheads, it finishes with a long, savoury edge that reflects both the power and refinement of McLaren Vale. Approachable now yet capable of rewarding further cellaring, it pairs beautifully with grilled beef short ribs, charred vegetables and smoky barbecue dishes.
