Sourced from 25-year-old vines in Langhorne Creek, this organic and sustainably farmed blend of Cabernet Franc (40%), Merlot (40%), Malbec (10%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%) shows both vibrancy and depth. Hand-picked in the cool of the morning and wild fermented with 20% whole bunches, it reveals lifted aromatics of dark berries, violets and subtle spice. The palate is supple yet structured, layered with black cherry, plum and graphite, framed by fine tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish from its limestone-clay soils. Basket pressing and 12 months in French oak bring refinement without heaviness. Unfined, unfiltered and vegan-friendly, with minimal sulphites, it is a wine of purity and poise.

Decanting is recommended. While approachable now, it has the stamina to cellar gracefully for 15+ years. Ideally enjoyed with charcuterie, grilled meats such as steak and fries, or a thoughtfully curated cheese board.
