The Lodge Hill Vineyard, purchased by Jim Barry in 1977, sits at 480 metres above sea level on the eastern ranges of the Clare Valley. Here, concentrated sunlight and cool nights slow ripening, producing small crops with pristine natural acidity and citrus intensity. Gentle pressing and a rapid transition into fermentation preserve the purity of fruit, resulting in a Riesling that is both expressive and enduring — a benchmark of the Clare Valley.
