Ditto was born from the shared curiosity of two friends united by a passion for Pinot—a grape that authentically expresses both place and maker. With a small-batch, minimal-intervention approach, Ditto crafts a red and a white each year from South Australia’s cool-climate regions of Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills and Parawa in the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula. The name, inspired by the Italian word detto (“the same”), reflects both Pinot’s long heritage of repetition and evolution, and the like-minded spirit of the two winemakers behind it.

Sourced from a neighbouring vineyard in Gumeracha that is farmed according to organic principles, this wine is crafted from MV6 and 777 Pinot Noir clones. 
30% whole bunch inclusion, wild fermentation, and extended time on skins contribute to its layered complexity and structure.

The resulting wine is silken yet powerful, with lifted perfume and aromas of dark cherry, spice, and savoury depth, showcasing both elegance and intensity in perfect balance.
