Raised in Kingston, 250 km southeast of Adelaide, Kerri Zilm’s passion for agriculture eventually led her to winemaking. While studying Oenology at the University of Adelaide, she began working at O’Leary Walker Wines in the Clare Valley, sparking a lasting connection with the region. After 16 years there, she took the helm at Vickery Wines in 2018, working alongside Australian Riesling legend John Vickery and continuing his legacy. With nearly two decades of experience in the Clare Valley, Kerri launched her own boutique label, Miss Zilm, producing wines that reflect the purity of the region and the work of its dedicated growers. Her vibrant labels, inspired by meaningful years in her life, reflect her belief that wine should be as emotive as colour itself

Hand-picked the fruit from the Skilly Hills vineyard before transferring it to the winery for fermentation in 2T open fermenters with about 5% whole bunch. The ferment was gently hand plunged three times a day before being pressed to mature French oak hogsheads (10% new) for 16 months maturation.

Lifted perfume of bright red and black fruits with subtle spice and floral notes.
A fresh and medium bodied wine that shows all the hallmarks of a modern Clare Valley Shiraz. Plush and juicy with fine integrated tannins. There is a strong core of red fruits including cranberry and cherries, which is supported by subtle spice and liquorice.
